V sobotu 17. října 2015 se konalo první kolo
The first round of the league season ligové sezóny 2015/2016. Organizace se ujal pražský tým New Cavaliers a zápasy se odehrály ve Sportovní hale Radotín. Zúčastnily se všechny čtyři české týmy – kromě pořadatelů New Cavaliers Praha a našeho týmu Jaguars Praha to byli ještě SK Indians Plzeň a Red Dragons Praha nově složený z hráčů, kteří přišli z týmu Rejnoků ze Zlína a části hráčů z týmu New Cavaliers. Nová sezóna přináší spoustu změn. Kromě toho, že se mění harmonogram ligy a bude se hrát na podzim a na jaře se zimní přestávkou, bude na dodržování řádů, pravidel a samotný průběh ligy dohlížet nově ustanovená Ligová komise. Největší změnou pro tým Jaguárů samozřejmě je, že se po jedné vynechané sezóně do České ligy vrátili. A chtěli jsme ukázat, že jsme ten čas mimo ligovou soutěž rozhodně nepromarnili. Mimo přátelská utkání s českými týmy jsme hráli i na mezinárodních turnajích, ale hlavně jsme neustále poctivě trénovali. Byli jsme zvědaví na srovnání, které by ukázalo, kam jsme se posunuli.
První zápas jsme sehráli s Indians Plzeň. Na začátku první půlky se projevila naše nesehranost, což nás trápí na začátku každého turnaje a soupeř se několikrát dostal k naší bráně a vystřelil pět střel. Naštěstí brankářka Jana zakročila a gól z toho nepadl. Jelikož soupeř i dobře bránil, povedlo se nám skórovat jen třikrát. V druhé půlce už se naše hra usadila a brzy jsme hřiště ovládli. Indiánům se opět podařilo čtyřikrát potrápit brankářku Petru a Jan Vaněk jednou úspěšně zakončil. Jenže my jsme přidali dalších dvanáct gólů a vyhráli jsme 15:1. Denis dal šest gólů a na šest přihrál a Standa dal osm gólů a na pět přihrál. Jednu asistenci si připsal i Honza. Jedna branka byla vlastní. Na soupeřovu bránu letělo hned 41 střel.
Jako druhý soupeř nás čekal tým New Cavaliers. Po zkušenostech ze všech minulých zápasů jsme čekali vypjatý a vyrovnaný zápas. Ten však tentokrát nepřišel. Jaguáři byli jednoznačně aktivnějším týmem na hřišti. Kavalírům se na naši bránu povedlo vystřelit jen pětkrát a z toho padl jen jeden gól na samém konci zápasu z hokejky Michaeli Charvátové. Na soupeřovu bránu letělo hned 23 střel a z toho padlo pět gólů – čtyři dal (dvě asistence si připsal Denis) Standa, jeden Denis (asistence Iva). Vyhráli jsme 5:1.
Poslední zápas jsme sehráli s Red Dragons. Jak už jsem psala, Red Dragons je tým nově složený ze tří bývalých hráčů týmu Rejnoci a několika hráčů, kteří přešli z týmu New Cavaliers. A nesehranost tohoto týmu se projevila. Zatímco náš rozjetý tým nastřílel osm gólů už v první půlce, soupeř na naši bránu vystřelil jen jednou. A tuto střelu brankářka vychytala. V druhé půlce vyslali Red Dragons na bránu pět střel a tato zvýšená aktivita se jim vyplatila, když Václav Uher naší brankářku jednou překonal. 
Náš tým vyslal na soupeřovu bránu celkem 51 střel. V druhé půlce jsme přidali dalších devět gólů a vyhráli tak neuvěřitelných 17:1. Standa dal 10 gólů a pětkrát asistoval, Denis dal sedm gólů a přidal sedm asistencí, dvě asistence přidal Honza a jednu Iva.
Celkově jsme tedy první kolo České ligy vyhráli a připsali si prvních devět bodů do celkové tabulky. Druzí skončili New Cavaliers, třetí Indians Plzeň a čtvrtí Red Dragons. Standa získal cenu pro nejlepšího střelce kola s 24mi góly. Denis byl s 12ti góly druhý, nicméně Denis nasbíral hned 28 bodů v kanadském bodování. Jana s neuvěřitelnou úspěšností 100% získala cenu pro nejlepšího brankáře. Petra byla s 80% úspěšností druhá. Zmínit musím i Ivu, protože díky novému vzorci pro výpočet bodů pro hráče s T-stick hokejkou se dá konečně číselně vyjádřit i její přínos na hřišti – berou se v potaz faktory, jako jsou čas, góly a asistence a počet gólů, které tým vstřelil a dostal za pobytu téčkaře na hřišti. Tuto novou statistiku Iva po prvním kole ovládla. Dobrou hrou se ukázal i Pavel, jenže jeho pobyt na hřišti byl omezený vadným joystickem. A jako šikovný a nadějný zadový hráč se představil Honza. To díky jeho zákrokům se na mou bránu nedostala skoro žádná střela. Náš tým dokázal výborně prodat, co trénujeme, dokázali jsme pružně reagovat na pokyny naší trenérky a dané taktiky udržet. Hráči předvedli plno krásných florbalových akcí. Takže se náš návrat do ligy dá hodnotit jako úspěšný. Samozřejmě ale nepolevíme v tréninku, protože stále je co zlepšovat a rozvíjet.
Závěrem musím poděkovat především naší trenérce, které vděčíme za všechny úspěchy našeho týmu. Andrea se nám věnuje poctivě každý týden a připravuje stále nové postupy a taktiky. Bez trenéra by to nešlo. Určitě ne v takovém pojetí, v jakém to chce náš tým dělat – je to sport a my chceme být co nejlepší. Chceme obstát i v zahraničí a to znamená, že nesmíme povolit, protože zahraniční týmy hrají rychlejší hru a také se neustále vyvíjejí.
Dále děkujeme pořádajícímu týmu New Cavaliers za hladký průběh, rozhodčím Zdeňkovi Kamínkovi a Tereze Košťálové za profesionální odpískání celého dne, všem hráčům ostatních týmů za účast a konečně našim asistentům a fanouškům Janě, Jendovi, Matějovi, Matějíčkovi a Jonášovi.
Těšíme se na další kolo
2015/2016 took place on Saturday the 17th of October. The organiser was the Prague´s team New Cavaliers and all matches were played at the Sports hall Radotín. All Czech teams participated – New Cavaliers Prague, Jaguars Prague, SK Indians Pilsen and Red Dragons Prague which is newly compounded of players who came from the team Rejnoci and New Cavaliers. The new season brings many changes. Except for the change of the leagues schedule – we will play in the autumn and spring with the winter break – there is the newly created League´s committee which will control the league in general. The biggest change for the team Jaguars is that after one skipped season we came back to the Czech league. And we wanted to prove that we didn´t waste the time. We participated in the friend matches with the Czech teams as well as the international tournaments. And what was more – we trained a lot all the time. So we were curious about the upcoming sports encounter which would show our progress.
Our first opponent was the team Indians Pilsen. We had the problem at the beginning of the match – same we have at the beginnings of all tournaments -we weren’t concentrated and coordinated enough. So the opponents got the chance to reach our goal and sent five shots. Fortunately the goalkeeper Jana was successful and Indians didn’t score. The opponent were defending well so we managed to scored only three times. However our game settled in the second half and soon we took over the field. Indians managed to sent four shots towards the goalkeeper Petra and Jan Vaněk scored once. But we added other twelve goals and won 15:1. Denis scored six times and assisted six times too; Stanislav scored eight times and assisted for fifth goals. Jan had one assistance. Once Indians scored into their own goal. There were 41 shots reaching the opponent´s goal.
Our second opponents were New Cavaliers. We expect an intense and equal match as always when it came to New Cavaliers. But nothing like that happened this time. Jaguars were definitely the more active team on the field. Cavaliers managed to send only five shots toward our goal and only one shot was successful and they scored. Michaela Charvátová was that scorer. There were 23 shots approaching the opponent’s goal and we scored five times – Stanislav got four goals (Denis had two assistances), Denis got one (Iva assisted). We won 5:1.
Our last opponents were Red Dragons. As I mentioned before Red Dragons is a newly rebuild team compound from the former players of Rejnoci and few players from New Cavaliers. It was obvious that the team wasn’t coordinated and trained immediately. While our running team scored eight times in the first half, the opponent sent only one shot to our goal. And this shot was successfully caught by a goalkeeper. They managed to send five shots to our goal in the second half and it was worth it when Václav Uher scored once. We send 51 shots to Red Dragons‘ goal. Unbelievable. We added nine more goals in the second half and we won 17:1. Stanislav scored ten times, assisted five times; Denis scored seventh times, assisted seventh times too; two assistances added Jan and one Iva.
So we won the first round of the Czech league competition and got the first nine points. New Cavaliers were the second, SK Indians were the third and Red Dragons were the fourth. Stanislav was the best scorer with 24 goals. Denis was the second with 12 goals, however Denis got 28 poibts in Canadian scoring. Jana was the best goalkeeper with 100% success rate. Petra was the second with 80% success rate. I have to mention Iva because it is finally possible to quantify her contribution to the game in numbers – thanks to the new pattern for T-stick players where the factors as time, goals and assistances and the number of received and shot goals while the player was on the field are taken in the consideration. Iva absolutely took over this statistics. Pavel also performed a good game however his time on the field was affected by his broken wheelchair. Jan introduced himself as a good defensive player. Thanks to his interventions there were so little shots which approached mine goal. Our team managed to perform what we train, we managed to react to our coach flexibly and we managed to keep the game our way. Players showed many nice actions. So we can say that our return to the league was successful. Naturally we won’t stop with the intensive trainings because there are still things which need to be improved.
Finally I have to thank to our coach who we owe all of our successes to. Andrea is truly devoted to our team and our sport. She trains us every week while looking for new tactics and methods. It wouldn’t be possible without a coach. Definitely not in the style we chose – this is sport and we want to be as best as possible. We want to prove ourselves even abroad and that means that we can’t stop because teams abroad own a faster game and are still improving.
