Jak už jsme dříve zmínili, jedním z cílů nově zvoleného vedení federace českého Powerchair hockey je obnovení českého národního týmu a návrat na mezinárodní scénu. Proto o víkendu 28. a 29. května proběhlo v Praze na Jarově první setkání a následně i trénink hráčů, kteří mají o účast v národním týmu zájem. Prvního setkání se zúčastnilo 13 hráčů ze všech českých týmů, což je pro začátek dobrá účast. Hráči projevili potřebný zájem, takže nic nebrání tomu reprezentaci obnovit a její činnost soustředit na účast na některých z příštích mistrovství Evropy nebo světa.

Během víkendu tak proběhly první tréninky pod vedením trenérů Andrei Kuncové a Jiřího Táborského. Různá individuální cvičení, ale i zapojení do různých herních situací a taktik, měla za cíl zhodnotit aktuální schopnosti jednotlivých hráčů. Trenéři následně vypracují jejich individuální herní profily.
Během setkání zájemců o reprezentaci proběhl i workshop pro zájemce o roli rozhodčího, který přinesl první vhled do světa Powerchair Hockey a jeho pravidel. Čtyři účastníci si na konci každého dne vyzkoušeli převézt nově nabyté poznatky do praxe, když si mohli odpískat cvičné zápasy.
Akce se navíc zúčastnili i Lenka Zemančíková z Bratislavy a Martin Rác z Brna, kteří chtějí založit tým Powerchair Hockey v jejich městě. V případě Bratislavy by šlo o první tým Powerchair Hockey na Slovensku vůbec.
of the new management of the Czech Federation of Powerchair Hockey is the restoration of the Czech National team and coming back at the international field. Therefore there was the first meeting and training of players, who are interested in participating in the National team at the weekend 28th and 29th of May in Prague. Thirteen players from all Czech teams participated and it is a nice attendance for the beginning. The players showed the needed interest so there is nothing what would obstruct the renewal of the National team and the concentrating to the participation in next World or Europe Championship.
So during thhat weekend the firt trainings with two coaches – Andrea Kuncová and Jiří Táborský – took place. The various individual practises as well as using of many tactics and combinations should show and evaluate current abilities and possibilties of each player. The coaches then will work up the game profiles of all players.
The workshop for people interested in becoming a referee also took place during that weekend. They got the first insight in the world of Powerchair Hockey and its rules. Four participants tried to transform their new knowledge in the practice when they could whistle the matches at the end of each day.
Important was also the presence of Lenka Zemančíková from Bratislava and Martin Rác from Brno, who would like to create a new team of Powerchair Hockey in their cities. In case of Bratislava it would be the first team of Powerchair Hockey in Slovakia ever.
